signing in after a long dry spell of writing

I haven't written because I have not felt the urge to write...well... I guess today I do.
My hip replacement surgery was a success. I am back to work and back to living my life. All is  not wonderful, but all is worth doing , all is worth growing for and evolving and as in any life there are things to deal with. Well, I can deal with things. So...pfffft to things.

Cheyenne and I have been doing wonderfully. Our riding time has increased and our time together is enjoyable...he goes in a straight line now...poor boy. My hip musta been pushing on him  for quite a while.
Well that's it for now.Take care of yourself...be good to yourself...don't put up with any bullshit or meanness...smile and don't let it wreck your day....pffft to bullshit. :)

Weekend

OK...Saturday morning Cheyenne and I did some great work, I rode with focus, purpose and a sense of joy :)  When we were coming along the Creek we saw a BIG coyote, it was almost golden colored and I wasn't sure if it was hybrid domestic dog/coyote mix...No Jenni and companyto ride with , they are getting ready for a show.

Sunday morning I went to breakfast with Farmer Boy at Taylor's Kitchen and had shrimp and grits, yum! Creamy, peppery grits , bacony with crispy mushrooms and moist and flavorful shrimp. Farmer Boy had the breakfast pizza...he said it was great. I tasted the crust and yes indeed it was very good.

In the afternoon I did take nap....I am lucky I did not wake up with the Sunday comics on my face! Remember Silly Putty? tee hee

So....yes...in December I will have a left hip replacement surgery. I am good with this, I did not even know I had arthritis ...however it sure was made crystal clear to when I saw my x-rays that this was needed. If I was a horse they would just make me comfortable until they had to put me down cause I couldn't get around anymore. With the surgery and replacement part I should be able to live my life and do the things I love. I may not be able to run the Kentucky Derby but I can still ride in my beautiful back yard.
