Monday

March 5 , 2012...time marches on....
Well, this weekend was like a little dose of Spring is Right Around the Corner ...lalala.

I went off with Cheyenne both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The daffodils are blooming and the grass is growing at long last. I spent alot of time grooming and riding, riding and grooming. Cheyenne, Minnie, Eagles Wings and Princess Eagle Eyes (Pea) all got a good brushing. Their Winter coats are coming off like crazy and there was horse hair everywhere. I can't wait to get home and get more horse hair all over my clothes! haha.

I am grateful for my life and the opportunities I have allowed room for...

the opportunity to grow as a person...

the opportunity to see others as they are...not as I want them to be...

the opportunity to expect more from life and others....

the opportunity to expect more from myself...

the opportunity to expect opportunities...

Today

I am grateful for a brain that works as well as it does....
I am grateful for lungs that work....
I am grateful for legs that hold my body  up ...
I am grateful for a voice to speak my mind...
and share my feelings...
and sing when I want to sing...
and hands and arms to pet and hug other creatures as needed...

Alrighty then...

Yesterday after work I spent some time with Cheyenne the Wonderful horse and we did some groundwork making isolating movement from the front and rear end . Minnie and I went for a stroll and discussed the days events and then Frisco and I went for a mile walk after dinner.
I woke up with the rain last night and had a hard time falling back to sleep, toss and turn, toss and turn. Finally I fell asleep or I thought I did, funny dreams.
Today it is still softly raining, which is great, we really need it this winter.So...that is it for now.

OK...no more deluding my delusional self...

I thought I looked healthier and trimmer than this...no more fudging, (literally)...no more casual drinks with friends....health first...ego second....more pictures to check and see how I am doing...dang.

Oh and I thought I liked this "genie" bra for the comfort and fit...but as I can see ....I don't like how it shapes or supports....dang.
Hellava Monday Morning Wake Up Call....dang.

The Weekend

Yay! It is Friday.
Today after work I am going to get my hair done and then Farmer Boy and I are going to a lecture at The Mondavi Center by Oliver Stone the film maker. I have never been to a lecture of this sort....I have been lectured and given lectures but I have never been taken to a lecture in a lecture hall.New stuff baby.

Tomorrow I am going to ride my horse, first and foremost. Cheyenne and I need some time together. It is hard in the Winter (simply because of the limited day light and work) to get in enough horsey time to satisfy my soul.
Then .....Farmer Boy and I are going to Herringer's Winery in Clarksburg to pick up some wine and enjoy some pairings of Port and chocolate, yum.
Sunday...Super Bowl Sunday...I am going to go to Jenni's and we will have a riding lesson in her arena with Tammi from TNT Horse Training. Yes, I will wear my spurs.

I also plan on taking some pictures, I haven't taken any pictures lately and I am missing that as well.
Remember:

With that I bid you adieu until next time  from down on the farm....

Cheyenne the Wonderful Horse

And away we go.....

Monday talking about Sunday

OK, yesterday I got up...downed some good Starbucks coffee and then headed outside to feed Frisco, the Kitties and Cheyenne and Minnie. Then I checked on Shiloh (the new old boarder horse...29 years old...old pony) and gave him his breakfast.
Went back in the house after talking to one of my sister/friends for a short chat and watched the Sunday Morning show on CBS. Made some eggs and sourdough toast for Farmer Boy's breakfast and I had eggs and spinach and tomato juice.Then...I went outside and walked with Frisco, fed the girls(Pea and Eagles Wings) and then gave  Minnie some alfalfa and Cheyenne and I had a 45 minute grooming/massage therapy session. I focused on his health and welfare and he focused on being well mannered and enjoying the grooming session. After I finished grooming Cheyenne the Wonderful Horse, I groomed Shiloh and let him know we cared about him too. I think he appreciated it ...he dropped his head in my arms and let me softly pet his face.
Later that afternoon I met up with some gal pals in town. We attended a De-Stressing Yoga class....oh wow was that the best! I still feel good...aah breath... relax...renew ...smile.
Went home, fed the animals and then grilled  lamb and steamed some broccoli for dinner. Yum, thanks to our friends in Wilton who raised the lamb and thanks to the lamb for so tastily nourishing our bodies.
Watched some TV....and hit the hay...so to speak. Woke up feeling good, ready to face the day. I hope you have a good day too.....
