Beautiful day! Sunshine! Warm Heart! Open Heart! Clear Mind!

Good Day to be Alive, Thank You for the opportunity to try and get it right again today!

Yesterday after working in town, I groomed my little Legal Eagle and gave her some wormer medicine. She really liked the part were I brushed and then scratched her ears. She is a dolly , that is for sure.
Her Mommy got some grooming, wormer and scratches as well. Lotsa Love to go around. The more you give the more you make.

The Greatest Gift

Thought for the day:
The greatest gift we can give to further world peace is cultivate peace in our own heart.

Another nice thing we can do for the world is not end up looking like the people in the "people of Wal-Mart" shots! Yikes Stripes.

Well, it was a rainy, grey weekend. I did some ground work with the 2 boys and On Eagles Wings. We all enjoyed that. I groomed all the horses. That was fun and I think I got a bit of dermabrasion effect from the dirt residue on my face!

Rainy day, sleepy day..chili for lunch...need coffee to stay awake for the afternoon....yawn.

Soon it will be:

Rainy,windy and grey. Working in town. Might as well be in town...can't ride in weather like this.

So....focus on letting the rain replenish the Earth. Rain is a good thing...as Martha would say.

Today I will focus on loving others and myself. Loving... meaning doing what is right for them and myself.

Not Monday but...Tuesday

Well, what a fine three days Down on the Farm.
Jenni and Ricky came over Saturday, we had a great ride ; lots of trotting! Jenni and Maple came over Sunday...way fun, way fantastic ride! Best trotting EVER!!!!!!

We trotted in the fog, we trotted in the rain, we trotted in the wind and we trotted in the grey sky with a little tiny blue sky popping through.

Today

Just for today I will focus my attention on:
Loving Myself

1-11-10 A study of objects from Down on the Farm

I found some tremendous mushrooms and that got me looking around and feeling "Arty" so here is my Art selection from Sunday;

1-11-10

Oh what a time we had this weekend Down on the Farm! Jenni came over Saturday with Ricky and we(me and Cheyenne) set off to the bottom land. We found some good footing for trotting along the River levvee and the humans and the horses all had a blast! On our way back we saw a Bald Eagle fly! We followed it a bit and then noticed it had turned back. We saw it sitting in an Oak tree on the Cosumnes River edge. We sat for 10-15 minutes and just watched, what a special treat. Of course neither one of us had our cameras as we both had said to our selves that maybe we were being obssesive about picture taking. And then to miss a picture of this! Never again we vowed, to ride out without our cameras.
David and I had fun Saturday afternoon and evening just hanging around. I roasted a chicken, made lima beans with olive oil and smoked salt and brown rice (Trader Joe's /frozen/just 3 minutes in the microwave /it's too good) for dinner.
Sunday, Jenni came back with Maple, together with Cheyenne and I; we made tracks to the bottom in search of good trotting ...we even got in a little loping! Woohoo!
We did quite a bit of trotting and had fun watching and listening to the Sandhill Cranes .
David played disc golf with his herd of men and I fed the ponies and doggie and kitties. When I was standing with the horses; Zane the kitty came up for a hugging. It was  so nice to stand and just listen to the quiet with my animal friends.

Friday 1-08-10

Another beautiful day, grey this morning, light rain this afternoon.
Tomorrow I made plans to ride with Jenni at 10 a.m., Sunday morning too.
I will hopefully write about that on Monday morning.

All is Well

A New Year 2010. I remember when I was little I would wonder what life would be like in 2000...I couldn't  even fathom 2010. I guess I figured I would be old by then and wouldn't care. Now, I know the older I get, the more I care about and enjoy the life I have. I have found that by focusing on what is good in my life, more goodness comes. Happy New Year, Happy Life !
