Time well spent

yesterday I spent time with my horses, just time together.... time no one can take away from me...a little life present from me to me...wrapped and unwrapped whenever I need a little joy fix...amen.

Saturday was sunny and warm, Sunday I went to ride Cheyenne in the afternoon and was thinking I was dressed too warm (long Sleeve T-Shirt) and was glad I was dresssed the way I was by the time we got back.Funny weather...I want to be under a blanket on the couch; reading and drinking hot cocoa...not the usual list of "want to be doing" in May!

Sunday...Jenni and Maple came over and we (Me & Cheyenne) went to the bottom...we rode in clouds, wind, rain and sunshine! What a fun ride!

Weekend Plans...

OK...tonight after work....let the yearlings catch me and give them dinner...let the olderand wiser horses into the pasture...go check on what we need to do to get the new fence....

Saturday go to Grass Valley to the Amador County fair Grounds for the Wild West Antique show...

Sunday...go to church...ride my Cheyenne....

Tuesday Windy Tuesday, yes that is today. ...might as well be in town working....

When I get home tonight I will lead the baby girls up to the barn, throw my tack & grooming supplies in the wheelbarrow and get Cheyenne and go for a spin. Jenni and Maple will come over...if only for a short ride..at least it is a ride!
The hay is tall...ready to be cut, heading out and in the boot so the farmers say. Now...weather gods be with us!
