Friday...yippee!
OK! It's finally Friday! Woohoo! A beautiful Spring day...74 degrees today.
This week has been a busy one. Farmer Boy and I went to Davis , Tuesday night to see Del McCoury play at the the Mondavi Center.What a fun bluegrass band. The musicanship was stupendous. Mandolin, Banjo, stand up Bass, Guitar and Fiddle, all acoustic. The sound in the Mondavi center is so perfect for concerts.. ..we will go again in April to see Arlo Guthrie.
Yesterday was de-worming day for Cheyenne, Eagles Wings and Pea...Strongid this time of year. I took some apple juice in a syringe and gave them that first and then the Strongid...."just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down" and all as Mary Poppins said.
Have been doing alot of grooming and the winter hair is flying away and mostly landing on me ...which of course I love...no really I love it. After I groom my horses, I then groom my cat! Oh...and then the cat hair is all over me..what a sight to see...haha.
This weekend I will do house and farm chores, mow the lawn, and ride Cheyenne by myself Saturday. Sunday, Jenni and Maple or Ricky will come over and we will meet the neighbor lady at the crossing and go to the bottom for a ride.
Next week, I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I have Thursday, Friday and the following Monday off for vacation. I work Tuesday and we are closed Wednesday for Cesar Chavez day. Good Old Cesar Chavez....thanks for a riding day in the middle of the week.! Then...I work Thursday, Friday and have the following Monday off...woohooo...Spring Days off for work and fun Down on the Farm!
I will take my camera on our rides and put up my nature pictures next time I write.

Well, the baby girl is healing and her leg is growing straighter and stronger...and I am using my muscles cleaning the stall. ....I just let her know it's time for "Room Service"! Well today started out sun shining and wind blowing....it blew in the rain and grey and cold...bbbrrrr. It is only 50 degrees . Good weather to curl up with a blanket and a book.The weather folks say the rain should be gone by this afternoon...I hope so. I want o play some more with Cheyenne this weekend. Jenni and her pony will come over Sunday afternoon to ride and celebrate the time changing to....yippee....Daylight Savings Time...woohoo.
Just remember....There are no mistakes...only lessons.
