Saturday...got up early and got the animals fed ...did a load of laundry and then rode Cheyenne...wonderful ride...walk, trot and canter. We worked on concentrating on what we were doing and not the mare and filly in heat calling to him ever so pleadingly to return to them. Saturday night Farmer Boy and I went to the town of Winters and had dinner at The Buckhorn. A giant burger for Farmer Boy and the Roadhouse steak salad for me, Sierra Nevada beer for Farmer Boy and red wine for me. Then on to The Palms for a concert by Tom Russell...check out some of his music on previous posts. :)
Sunday, I helped Jenni and the boys at a local horse show...fun!!!!!! Ricky and Nelson were awesome! We rocked the event! So much fun doing the cones and all the hazards!
I got home and Farmer Boy brought home home made Armenian Bread that our friend the Vet made! Wow an Animal M.D. that bakes! It was warm and soft as a pillow.
