Happy Monday

Well...what a grand weekend. Farmer Boy and I worked on the fence, we set some  posts and when the concrete sets Farmer Boy will weld some pipe between them. A strong, sturdy corner and gate it will be.

Jenni and Maple came over Saturday morning , Cheyenne and I enjoyed our ride with them very, very much. Cheyenne and Maple seemed to enjoy getting out and about as much as Jenni and I did. It was soooo beautiful and we saw all the changes that the big rain made in the bottom land. There are corn stalks everywhere they shouldn't be. Man oh man, the water was everywhere. We saw a coyote run into camouflage and hold oh so very still. Animal smarts...that's what the coyote was using.
Our Divine Ones (or Does'..as in Doe a Deer... as we starting calling ourselves) get together was fun, no we didn't go to the Crocker Art Museum. Instead we ended up gathered around Holly's table and had a meeting of the minds and sharing of ideas and let's not forget the laughter! Since it was Holly's birthday, Kirsti made a delectable dark chocolate/orange cake. It was very tasty.
Farmer Boy and I watched "Big Love"... I hate that it is the last season for this show. I have come to be addicted to the goings on of Bill, Barbara, Nicki and Margene! The trials and tribulations of a modern day polygamist family...

I do like my Nu Skin galvanic spa...I think my skin is not so saggy...and this makes my spirits not so saggy. Aaahh spring may be around the corner in afew months. The paperwhites are blooming. I will get  a picture and show how beautiful they are.

In the meantime here is a picture of the delicous cake Kirsti baked up for all of us!

Last night Farmer Boy and I went to the Mondavi Center and saw Mark O"Connor and Julian Lage's group "Hot swing" and hot it was! Fun , fun, fun.
I will also give myself a spa treatment with my Nu Skin Spa Galvanic Spa machine! Watch out sagging skin you are a goner!

Well, well, well...it is Thursday

A cloudy, cold and drizzly Thursday...but somehow the greyness and the cold feel comfortable. I have a mug of Tazo Zen tea and that is just right , to warm up the morning.
I think when I get home I will brush Cheyenne and then Frisco and I will go  for a walk. Animal time is good time as far as I am concerned.
Talk to you tomorrow.

Good Day Wednesday...to all the rebels out there

Warmer today, cloudy and the 50's woohoo. I will work later today than usual....I will get home in the dark...I don't walk in the dark, too much wild life out and about.
Yesterday Frisco and I had a great walk, I had my MP3 player on and we rocked out as we kept a pace of 126 beats a minute.
Breakfast this morning, one Granny Smith apple (love, love, love them) and a mixture of peanut butter and almond butter with sesame seeds.
Lunch: Trader Joes Turkey marinara sauce and green slad...yummm...good on a winter day.

I had kind of a crummy morning emotionally but you know I don't think I want to let those emotions rule my day...I believe I have other things to do...like live my life.

Good Day Sunshine! It was soooo cold this morning....

It looked like it had snowed! What a hard frost...my fingers hurt when I went outside to feed this morning. The horses were very happy to get their hay. The dog was ready for breakfast and a hug and a scratch...we will walk after work. The kitties were full of energy until they went outside then they hurried back to breakfast and bed.

OK, it is Day 8...getting a little tired of turkey and chicken...last night I baked  steelhead / with garlic/dill and lemon...very good.

Breakfast today: yogurt and berries, lunch chicken breast with green beans and olive oil/cracked black pepper and lemon dressing..very nice ....dinner tonite ( I am cheating here with the shellfish) big ol' green  salad with crab meat and prawns. Farmer Boy can have sourdough toast...I will forgo the toast.

This weekend we went to see "The Fighter", dang what a good movie...Oscar contentions for Christian Bale for sure.
Jenni and I went and watched a cutting horse competition. However we mostly watched the horses and riders in the warm up arena.I bet we saw 100 riders. It was educational, fun and cold as heck...good thing Jenni brought old army blankets! Brrrrr, those bleacher seats are cold.
